what does burlesque/erotic movement mean to you?: Like many of us in the burly community, I was raised in a strict religious environment where AFAB sexuality was viewed as 'dirty'. I was told that I am a delicate flower, and that each time someone 'handles' me, I wilt and become less beautiful or appealing. Burlesque has become my space for reclamation - reclamation of sexuality, queerness, and wholeness. A place where I can water and prune my flower, put lil jewels on it, love it unconditionally, and watch it blossom in ways it never has been able to.

what attracted you to being a part of our Troupe?: In 2023, baby LB sat down to watch their first burlesque show - EQB's It's Fucking Hot. I'm pretty sure my jaw was dropped the entire time. I had never witnessed queer joy, body positivity, and art in this way before. I was astounded and I instantly wanted to be on that stage - I'm a Leo, what can I say.
