what does burlesque/erotic movement mean to you?: Burlesque makes me feel powerful and confident in my artistic expression and my body. As an afab person who is fat and more masc presenting, and as someone who had a strict religious upbringing, I get to be on stage and own my sensuality and sexiness in an environment that celebrates bodies and sex and autonomy. I love that there are so many styles of burlesque nowadays too - theatrical, sensual, comedic, spooky, etc. I've performed in some capacity most of my life, and burlesque is such a unique and varied way to express myself as a human and an artist.

what attracted you to being a part of our Troupe?: My queer identity is a huge part of how I express myself as a burlesque performer. I feel very inspired being around other queer artists and performers, and I love that there's a Troupe that highlights the talents of the lgbtq+ community. I'm excited to be a part of that Troupe! I was given the opportunity to perform as a guest with ErotiQueer a couple times. The producers always made me feel like I belonged, and I'm so glad to be an official member now.
